I am not in a good position now and that is only going to get worse. In some misguided sense of family loyalty, it has attracted my mum's family, much like honey would a colony of ants. I know they think they are helping, but they cause more disruption and disharmony than any help they are providing. In their own way they mean well, but you cannot put more than one of them in a room now before the are arguing, or in some cases fighting. I just want peace and quiet, there is an old quote that is applicable here. "The road to hell was paved with good intentions." A company is coming today to change all of my door locks, they are not leaving me much of a choice.

Omg no. After my mother died, my two major aunts (a sister and a sister in law) tried to impress upon me their intentions to take her place in my life. I was like oh heck no. I had been no contact with her for the last several years. I had only ever been her show pony.
