My best friend, who lives 1200 miles away down in Honduras just called with news that her husband has a tumor, probably cancer, in his throat and has to have surgery. He can no longer swallow because it is blocking his esophagus. She suffers with depressiona and panic attacks like me but has no T and no support down there - the only psychiatrist speaks only Spanish and she speaks English so the doc gave her zoloft and xanax and sent her home to deal with it all on her own. I guess I just feel I need support so I can continue to support her long distance. They have no insurance and I gave her a 1200 minute ATT calling card so she could call me when she needs to. Thanks for letting me share my concerns.

Mars, that was great idea to give your friend the calling card. Your friend must be so worried and anxious, but now she knows she has someone she can talk to if she needs it. Just knowing that can be such a comfort. Take care! Thank God your friend has a good friend like you.
