I am starting the peer to peer classes provided by NAMI next week. Just wondered if anyone else had taken them?

What exactly does "peer to peer" mean? Do you have a reference Web site or anything that describes them?

I have not taken any such "classes".

You can find out more at NAMI.org. They are for people with mental illnesses. They also have classes for families.

NAMI has wonderful classes for people with MI, their families and loved ones. Most programs are taught or facilitated by people with personal experience (consumers, their families, etc) and are specially trained by NAMI before they can conduct classes.
