I think part of the reason why I don't get a lot of work done is because I spend too much time thinking. I think way too much. I will just sit here for hours just thinking about my life. I need to stop this but I really don't know how. I think it comforts me and my anxiety when I think a lot, because I forget about my current problems.

I think way too much too. I often imagine the way things (e.g. appts, meetings etc) might go, and find my self day dreaming the whole scenario. It helps ease any anxiety around the appt (mostly) because I've kinda been through it already, even if it doesn't go quite that way IRL!! I mostly do it with drs appts, imagine what I am going to say and then what she will say to me. Other times I just think...about my life now, about how things could be different, about what I could do to make them different, but mostly this is all 'ideals' and 'what ifs' and not things I could actually act on. It does provide an escape from reality, if nothing else. Of course, sometimes I get tired from my mind working all the time and I wish I could just blob out with no thoughts at all...
