All this arrived today. Sitting there waiting for tomorrow. Its for the Irish, Italian, Islenos parade. We will be celebrating some of our cultures down here. All of that food will be thrown from floats to us standing in the streets hollering for it. I will take some video to show ya'll what happy looks like for us down here.

Wow, how cool! Those floats are amazing. Can't wait to see the video! Thanks for sharing your life with us Chalmette.

lol. all those cabbages, carrots, potatos, onions, lemon, oranges, etc will be thrown at us. You'll see in the video i do.

That makes more sense. Though I have to say the mental picture of them throwing stew was quite entertaining for a minute. |

ok - so lobbying a cabbage at someone is fun how??? And I thought supersoakers at parades were over the top.

Man what I wouldn't do for some of that food. The lemons are for what? The rest would make some GOOOOD stew. Have fun catching. Can't wait to see.

YUUUUUMMMMMMMM! I'll take:
4 cabbage heads 16 potatoes 16 carrots 1 - 10 lb bag of onions 20 oranges 10 lemons... but on the side, please!  I've got a 10 lb package of hamburger to stuff the cabbages with.  Oh, yyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! My mouth is watering already! What?? No tomatoes??  AWWW, shucks!

never tried cabbage stew but I LOVE cabbage soup!
