I am posting this here so those that roller blade can see it. A young man of 17 yrs was killed this week near my city. 17 yrs and from what I understand was an up and coming blader. a huge future and well known in the SE for his abilities. He was not wearing a helmet and was doing a trick or stunt or whatever they call them. He fell and hit his head. He never woke up.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if any of you roller blade please wear a helmet. This young man was a nephew of a lady from my church. I know the family is really hurting right now.
