As part of my job I give presentations to the City Planning Commission. I've been working at this particular job since July and given several presentations to the commission. None have been publicized in the paper.... until today. I was slightly misquoted, but oh well. It was a "top story". The reason it showed up is because it was a somewhat controversial topic. For some reason I kind of feel "made". Silly really...

Oooo that's so cool. I've been in the paper loads of times because of swimming. Just this weekend my grandma brought over a paper clipping from 10 years ago that had my dad in it for his job.

Congrats spazkatt!!! Why not put the article (with paper name and date) into archival document keeper..so you'll enjoy it in the years to come.

thanks everyone. I got a paper copy of the paper, it's on the front page and my name was above the top fold. I don't know why I'm so excited about it. It's really not a big deal. Dazzle, you mentioned swimming, what stroke do you swim?
