I am so mad right now. I had 6 chickens that had free roaming of my 3 acres. slowly they have disappearerd. now I am down to 1 and just caught 2 stray dogs trying to kill her too. errrrrrrr no animal control in my county either. waaaaaaaaa

Aww, I'm sorry!
We had bunnies when I was a kid, and they got out of their cage one day...I still remember catching my neighbor's dog with one of them. So sad. They were just babies!

awww ((((bebop)))) that sucks, can you maybe get some more but keep them in a real big coop?

When I was little we had a chicken coop and the chickens could go out a door in the chicken coop into a fenced in area. Is that maybe a viable possibility?

no I wish it was but no money for a coop right now. darn. just sad tonight. not just because of my last chicken but a dear friend of mine went to her ob appt today and they found her baby had passed away. they are inducing labor. she was right at 24 weeks pregnant. a little girl. her name is Emma.
