we had a dumping of almost 40 cm of snow over the weekend and a lot of the residential roads and parkinglots are a mess. I was driving around today and i saw people helping random strangers out whenever they saw someone stuck in the snow. Someone even gave me a hand when i got stuck in a parking lot. It honestly made me feel proud to be a part of this community and gave me hope that maybe the future isnt completely doomed.

I agree, it`s great to see people help each other. Spiritual books tell us that humanity is like that. The people who refuse to give or recieve help are the people who have been hurt in the past and live in denyal.

it does! until a few days later when the snow is cleared, and life is boring again as usual. then you lose all hope again as people start honking at others and just being rude in other ways.
