Hey, I know some of us aren't comfortable posting pics, so I thought it would be neat to give a description of what we look like IRL!

Also I wanted to add a disclaimer that I thought this would just be a neat idea and interesting to see how members vary.. please remember and keep in mind that looks are only a very tiny part of what makes us all wonderful people. This is not meant to seperate anyone or make anyone feel like they are exposed, and it is NOT about race, weight, or looks at all. This is why I thought a poll would be good so it stays anonymous.

And finally, if anyone really feels this might cause a problem, feel free to pm me and I will have it taken down

Brown straight hair - long layers. Hazel/Greenish eyes that kinda change. 5'4" tall, 189 pounds (boo) White. Very very very white.

You have to upload it somewhere first. Like imageshack www.imageshack.us

Then, on the page that comes up look for Direct Link to image.. should be the very last text box at the bottom of the page.

Then come here, make a post, and in the box click image over on the side, put in the url that was in the direct link textbox, and voila!

Excellent poll, Rainbowzz!!

For over a year, I've wanted to do a poll like this to determine the ethnicity of people here. I had a feeling this site neglected to draw in very many non-caucasians. Sadly, it feels "white" here. (Me, I'm very white.) I wonder what the reasons are for persons of color not to come here and share their mental health issues. Is there more stigma and shame? Or is it because this forum decor doesn't appeal to a majority of persons of color?

How could we reach out to other races/ethnicities?

I'm 5'7', about 185 lbs last time I weighed myself but I think I've lost a bit since then. Dark brown eyes with glasses. Shoulder length wavey brown hair, with some grey coming in that's actually more silvery than grey so I like it.

yep you can. just go to the gallery and get the URL of the pic... should be able to right click the pic and "copy image location" if your in Firefox..if IE click properties and then the url. I think. lol
