this is just a post of my thoughts,

we all now the diferance between the towns citys and countryside

so i belive we know live in the countryside, there are disadvantages and advantages to this

the part of the uk we live in is very hilly so our piece of country side is stuck in a valley surrounded by farm land
we have great views and other than the main road that passses out front its very quiet here

ppl are friendly here

there is wildlife to see if you look

to get to nearset place to get sons meds is up a hill is at least a good two mile away

the small shop is ok for emergancys but it is only a small shop come post office

there is a great comunity spirt if you want to join or you lived here most of your life

I lived in both places and the countryside definatly has its great charms. I have ridden through a lot of England and I most say you guys have some awfully picturesque scenary there.

I currently live in the countryside and have no desire to move to town, I grew up in town and absolutely hated it.

It's probably 10-15 miles to the nearest town from where I live...and love it! City living is more like a punishment if you ask me...lol.

that really soounds great Kathryn... nice community, friendly people... wish there was a lot more of that... but i think people are really trying to do a little bit in their towns around the world...

i know there's a long way to go fr us all to get back to community thinking maybe, maybe a lot of people dont really care.... but the people who do really matter...

thanks for sharing that with us... you sound like very nice people to me

I, too have lived in both city and country. I'll take the country hands down any day! The city may have it's conveniences, but I would rather have a beautiful view and some strong connections with neighbors over the conveniences any day. countryside
