Hey all,

I just talked to Raynaadi. It is basically the same for her. She has to see her regular doctor tomorrow, and a specialist on next Thursday.

She says her pupils are hugely dilated, saying, she says that her eyes are trying to receive light, but are not.

I will let you know if I hear any more.

Man, this really sucks whats going on with Rayna. Tell her i'm pulling for her. And she is constantly in my thoughts. Those doctors will do anything and everything they can to help her. Can't wait to see her back here posting away.

Love ya ((((((Rayna)))))))

Thanks for the update Clyde. And plese tell her, if you're talking to her, that I'm praying for her. It totally sucks what she's going through, and I really hope the Dr.'s can find out what' s going on and fix it.

Love to (((Rayna))) Update on Raynaadi

Information for those who don't know much about MS:

What Type of Vision Problems Affect People With MS?

Optic Neuritis

Optic neuritis is the inflammation of the optic nerve, the nerve that transmits light and visual images to the brain and is responsible for vision.

According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 55% of people with MS will have an episode of optic neuritis. Frequently, it's the first symptom of the disease. Although having optic neuritis is very suggestive of MS, it does not mean that a person has or will get MS.

Multiple Sclerosis Vision Problems

The symptoms of optic neuritis are the acute onset of any of the following:

* Blurred vision
* Graying of vision
* Blindness in one eye (usually)

It's rare that both eyes are affected simultaneously. And pain is rare. Loss of vision tends to worsen over the course of a few days before getting better. This usually takes about 4-12 weeks. Treatment may include intravenous and/or oral steroids to control the inflammation.

Yes, surely, prayers and good thoughts are still helpful Update on Raynaadi It's still scary. Plus, I didn't read that this is what they have determined it is, I just know that this is what can happen with MS. Update on Raynaadi
