Im new here but i just wanted to say i am going to take a brake from all internet games to try to relieve stress or being addictive. I have been playing World Of warcraft sense it came out and have 4 70s, been playing runescape for about 7 years and counterstrike for about 5 years. I hope stoping these games will help me somehow... anyone done something like this before?

Welcome Kirby. I am not a gamer but I understand it can get very intense. I hope you find the support you are looking for here.

Hi kirby.

I notice with me that sometimes I can have periods where I can be quite addicted to some things online. Like one of my things is Neopets. Sometimes I'll get into a rut where that's where I spend my evenings...and it's become a ritual for me to play games on there before I am able to go to bed.

I think giving yourself some distance from these games can be a positive step if you think you have an addiction to them.
