I am sure most of you have heard of Senator Ted Kennedy's diagnosis of "almost certainly fatal" brain cancer. If you want, you can send him your well wishes through the following webpage...

Thank you for sharing that link, I wanted to send him well wishes and hadn't gotten around to searching for a place to do so. Well wishes for Senator Kennedy

Your welcome! I sent him my thoughts and prayer. I would love to see him pull through this--and every other person with such a status.

He just went home. I'm not sure but I believe the type of tumor he has doubles in size daily. If the tumor were operable, they would have had him in surgery, not let him go home for an event. Well wishes for Senator Kennedy Of course, there's always the chance that he demanded to delay any surgery. But it doesn't look promising.

I know. It's so sad. Anytime something like this happens it is. From some things I've read in the news, it seems like people are mourning him already and he is still alive, just diagnosed. I knew someone who had an inoperable brain tumor who died about a year ago. I think it might have been the same type. She'd found out while on vacation in Hawaii only months before she died.

He has plenty of family, and millions of well-wishers and prayers to support him. They keep saying he is strong... but there was no person stronger than my own dad, and his brain tumor took him in 5 weeks time. Well wishes for Senator Kennedy

Not to get into politics, but Sen Kennedy is a strong person for this country, regardless of our own party affiliations. It could very well change the course of our future as a nation should he pass before this next election. Scary, that someone could have so much power/sway, but true. So his soon passing would not be good in so many ways.

I hope he gets his miracle.

My thoughts and prayers to his family

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
taken from the news:
"While his doctors foreshadowed courses of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, the tumour was identified as a glioma, an aggressive form of cancer.

The US Society for Neuroscience said that gliomas are very damaging because they spread quickly within the brain. More than half patients diagnosed with a glioma die within 18 months."
