Seriously... help..
I am greatly overwhelmed.. depressed... and flat out sick.. Before I felt this way... I offered items.. up at site freecycle - place where... people offer things... they do not want.. or use... Oh my goodness... I was flooded this time.... with overwhelming I mean overwhelming response.. Last few times.. I have gotten maybe 5 responses.. for each item... but I was gone today... and it is like 20... responses for each offer..and there are several things out there...that I offered... How.. do I choose who gets this stuff.. I can't stand to disappoint anyone.... It isn't suppose to be first come first serve..according to site.. so please tell me what the heck to do??????? |

sweetie don't panic,it was so kind of you to do this for others..... if it makes you happy give the stuff out on a first come first served basis .... i just called my brother to see how it works and he said you can just chose, i know you don't want to let anyone down, but just reply to the e.mail of your choice and remember the other people will find what they are looking for from someone else anyway.....
it's totally up to you, if you do a first come first served at least you will not have to think any more of it ..... hope you're ok sweetie, love you jinny xoxoxoxoxoxo

Hello Freewill. Maybe you need some help from a friend or family member in choosing the people for the things, since you are overwhelmed, and you are getting triggered by all of these people and not wanting to disappoint anyone. This type of thing has a tendency to get out of hand quickly, especially where anxiety and depression are concerned. I hope things get better soon Freewill. Soidhonia

thanks everyone..
I "held" my breath... and just... choose.... and now am going to put items on the porch for pick-up.. and.. I have other things..but will wait for awile till I few.. better...lol Yazaa... |

I've offered a few things on the site...it is a hard decision to make.
I always tried to go the humanitarian route, was it for personal use or were they giving it away...did they seem like they had "too" much already. Good luck, its really hard! Dee

I had a problem with freecycle where I would organize the stuff (like all this really good scrapbooking stuff that was going to be picked up by a teacher) & box it up & leave it on the porch, give her directions to my house. She misses the first date set. Set another. She misses that. I leave it on the porch for 5 days. I complained to the mnoderator & quit. How rude!--Suzy
