Just a warning; this one is kind of long. hehe (surprised?)

Got up yesterday, took my kids to school (goodies in hand for halloween). Then I came home to pick up my other goody tray. I went to my t's office (its fairly big, lots of staff). I put a tray of cookies and cupcakes on the table for the staff and clients. They were pigging out; lolol. Then my t saw me and grabbed me to talk.

We talked shorlty, both had busy days. She has given alot of thought to what I have been saying about balancing out my life. She finally see's what I a saying. So, we have an appointment on Friday at mental health. She said she will come, and anytime after. So cool, its finally starting.

So, I had some running around to do before I went to the school to help my little guy get ready for his party. I phoned the place where they wanted to hire me on staff. I took the job!!!! Its a clothing store. I start on Tuesday, only a 3 hour shift. Which is really good. Its only about 15-20hrs a week, perfect. So I felt great about this.

Then my bf and I went to the school to get my son ready. He looked adorable (in a scary way; lolol, vampire). I had to be fast, had skating shorly after. So when we finished, my bf drove me over to the rink, then he went back to the school to be with my son for his party.

I went to the rink and helped all of the kids get ready. Finally, I got to put on my skates; lolol. My fingers were sore from tying so many skates. So I get on the ice, really wobbly, but was okay. Then I looked over at the bleachers and saw this little girl from my daughters class, sitting there looking so sad. I went over and asked her what was wrong. She said, "my mom sent my old skates but they don't fit". I looked down at her feet, and I thought, her feet look like the same size as mine. I asked her what her shoe size was, hehe, same as mine. So I asked her if she would like to try on mine. Her cute little face lit up like the sun. So I got them off, put them on her, tied them, and they worked perfectly. HOW WONDERFUL!! She was so excited, and had a blast with the rest of the kids. It felt great to make a difference for someone; (as small as it may have been, but it was great).

So I was sitting on the bench, watching all the kids, and another little girl came over, but crying soooo hard, it broke my heart. I asked her to come sit down and talk with me, only to find out what the poor dear is going through. Her mom and dad just split up and she is temperarily living with her dad. She normally lives 5 hrs away from here, but her mom is gone for a month. She craddled herself like a little baby, cried so hard her body shook, and said she missed her mom. I was desperately trying to think of what could help get this poor girls mind off of mom. So I asked one of the teachers if I could go walk around with her.

So we go for a walk through the lobby, talking away. It took a while but I started asking the right things. I asked her about her other school, about her friends, teachers. Eventually, I had this girl showing me what they do in gym class. I was laughing soooo hard. She was doing cartwheels, showing me all this cool stuff. To see her happy, just made my day. I know how it feels, (well have seen what happens to kids), with divorce and it affects them the most. So hard for them to comprehend. By the end of the day, she was doing monkey movements, making funny noices etc. hehe.

But........yes, there is more. So we are out in the lobby when a little boy is being carried out from the ice. The tears poured from his face. The teacher was a heartless bit....she was so rough with his leg and he cringed everytime she touched him. I couldn't help but say something. I grabbed a chair and said, "well instead of yanking the boys leg around, how about if we put it up and give him a chance to calm down." She kind of glared and said, "yes, I guess thats a good idea." duhhhh. So she said it looked like I had it under control and went back on the ice.

This boy is my doctors son. Man do they look alike. Anyway, he had on pants with the zipper up the sides, perfect!!! I looked at his knee, swollen and starting to bruise. He was still very upset. So I took another kid with me and we went to hunt down a staff member to find an ice pack. Well we found someone, (he was sooooooooooooo good looking, I had to focus on the task at hand) Sorry, but he was very attractive and such a sweet man. So he found a zip lock bag, got some snow, and put it together. It worked perfectly. We iced his knee on and off, till he was able to walk a little. It was funny cause I wanted to get this boy laughing. I practically stood on my head. Nope, nothing. So I asked him if I could take his skates off for him, he quietly said yes. But two of his friends wanted to take them off. It was such a site. They were both pulling on the poor kid, almost right off the chair. I made a joke and the little guy just busted up in laughter. So of course, justy here has to keep on going with it. I had about 10 kids out there to see what was so funny. I ended up with all of these kids in hysterical laughter. Changed the mood, thats for sure. And the other little girl, (that misses mom), was still doing cartwheels, making a ruckus. Too funny. Was an awsome experience. The best part though, my daughter totally understood me not being able to skate. She said, "mom, I know how it feels to miss mom, and it was cool of you to let Brook use your skates." I had to give her a huge hug for someone with such a huge heart.

So I had to say goodbye for the day, the kids were going out with dad last night. But he phoned and kept them over night. They just got back about an hour ago. They had a great time; hurray.

But guess what?? (yes, almost done); I ate and held it down.

My bf and I went out for dinner last night; he was so busy at work he said we should grab something. So we did. I had homemade mushroom soup (it was the best ever) and I had some hot wings. And it stayed down. My fluid intake for the day was well over 2000ml. IS THIS NOT GREAT!!!!! I will never forget this day for as long as I live. What a perfect and wonderful day.

Really was excited to share this, sorry its so long. I am really proud of myself, what a step forward. I did not panick for once. It felt good to eat, small amount, but sure better than usual. hehe. Then I went to bingo-won $240. Cool!!!

So, I hope all of you have a wonderful day. My positive vibes are being sent in here and wishing they find all of you.

Love,

Justy HAPPY DAYS; need to share this!!!!! HAPPY DAYS; need to share this!!!!! HAPPY DAYS; need to share this!!!!! HAPPY DAYS; need to share this!!!!!
