Just let it go, Angie. It's not your place anymore. Too bad he didn't do the needed maintenance when it was till yours. But it's all behind you now. Don't waste your energies that you need to get completely out of there.

(((((((Angie))))))) Almost every landlord I've ever had has been an evil jerk. Glad you're getting out of there. Support or ....... Support or .......

Well, landlords provide shelter for a price. We are people too. The best thing about renting is if you don't like the facility or the owner, at the end of the lease you can move.

I've been a land lord for many years and I can tell you that dealing with tenants isn't fun either sometimes.

I'm sorry you had problems with your landlord, some are "evil jerks" and then so are some tenants.

The biggest problems I have are with repairs, I'm not clairvoyant nor am I a snoop so if somethig is broke tell me and I'll have it fixed. One of my tenants went without A/C for 4 days during a heat wave. When I asked them why they didn't call they said they thought it was their imagination because the fan was running. Support or ....... yes, it will stay running but, that dosen't mean the compressor is kicking in. After I got their notice 3 hours later they had A/C.

I hope the next place you move to is a better situation for you and less stressful.

Good luck,
