None of these thoughts happened while I was on drugs, When I am on drugs I usually think "i am so screwed up takiing drugs blah" but thats about it. On drugs I think about drugs and nothing much else.

I find that insulting. My parents are witches and I have quite an extensive experience of various different magical systems including forms of demonolotry, luciferianism, satanism etc. Although I don't personally practice any religion I know lots of people in these religions (adult people) and they are good, well balanced (as much as anyone) people. I think I do inadvertantly practice magic on occasion but I dont do it on purpose because it would involve having purpose and concentration.

I don't think Chernobal effected us psychologically I think it effected our biology. I read an article in the new scientist saying that our mitochondria were mutated aswel so that confirms it to a degree.
Also just for the sake of accuracy I am from the UK not America.

I think this is a highly inappropriate comment to be making here. It is demeaning and not supportive. Some people develop a habit of using "four letter words" early in their youth and where they come from this is not considered anything shocking or unusual or bad or wrong, it's just another form of expression, and the habit continues into their adult years and has nothing to do with "being juvenile" or anything else having to do with their intelligence or maturity. You are out of line on this.

And you're out of line here as well. What right do you have to tell someone else what religion to practice??? This is patronizing and insulting. It's one thing if you personally had an experience with a particular religion that messed YOU up and mentioned it as part of sharing YOUR experiences while seeking support for YOURSELF, but to make presumptions and assumptions about other people and then freely lambast them with your very OBVIOUS prejudices under the guise of "just offering your opinion trying to be supportive" is JUST PLAIN WRONG.

Mentally healthy/balanced/stable minds practice mentally healthy/balanced/stable religion -- regardless of what religion it is -- or no religion at all if that's what they choose. I have met healthy, balanced people from ALL walks of life and ALL persuasions of spirituality. Mentally UNhealthy/IMbalanced/UNstable minds tend to practice mentally UNhealthy/IMbalanced/UNstable forms of religion -- again, regardless of what religion it is. I've met MORE unhealthy, unbalanced, f*cked up people from the religions that are supposed to be the "only one true way" than any other paths, to be quite honest. You can check the newspapers and see who makes headlines for beating and starving children to supposedly "get the demons out" and I'll give you a major hint: it is NOT the "satanists". Chew on that for awhile. Your comments re: this were totally non-supportive and counterproductive and out of line.

It must have been interesting to have been raised by parents who practiced an occult path. I'm sure that candistyx appreciates feeling supported but most people in these forums support each other without the expense of tearing down another.

I've seen in your posts that you have the ability to be supportive and that you honestly appear to want to participate here.

I'm hopeful that you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Like you I've also been around on line people who do nothing but attack and that approach doesn't get anyone very far.

I don't get your point. The other poster was the one being unsupportive and passing negative judgments. Are you trying to say now that I'm not allowed to respond to that and tell them so? You can't have it both ways. If ppl can say that to me when they feel that way about something I wrote, then I should have the same right. I think you are just trying to harass me and I don't appreciate it. OK, I will give you credit for your post using nice/neutral words, you deserve that, but I don't trust the intent behind it as it sounds like you just want to leave me no options whatsoever but to swallow it when someone directly insults Us. (Plus I remember you 'had a go at' me before when you were mad at me and as a result i'd put you on ignore -- the only reason I saw your post this time is because I was not logged in and had not realized it yet till I went to hit "reply" and it was blacked out.)

My Guardians did not like what that person posted about Us. They will not permit me to internalize input from sources previously identified as Deleterious or classified as Inimical because They are highly protective of me.

Folks, if you feel someone has crossed the line in any thread on the forums, the proper response is to click on the "notify moderator" icon at the bottom of every post. (It's the icon that's in a circle.) Taking matters into your own hands is usually not a good idea because it usually just escalates the situation (although I can understand why people might feel compelled to do so).

Also, when people stray off the original topic's purpose, by focusing on someone's comments (inappropriate or not) that have little to do with the original author's question or issue, we call that hijacking a thread and it is frowned upon in most online communities (this one included).

Please try not to do this. Start a new thread if you want to discuss something new, don't take over someone else's thread with a string of negative comments back and forth with others.
