I haven't been online here very much lately, just wanted to give an update to anyone who was wondering about me.

Since June I have had 3 suicide attempts, all landing me in the ER, and two landing me in a psych ward 3 hours away from home. That's the closest psych facility, apparently. The first time was only 5 days, the last was 12 days stay.

I am finally doing a little bit better, and I went back to work last Monday.

But I didn't even last the whole week - Friday morning I just felt so tired, so I called in sick, took my daugther to daycare (in my pajamas!) and then spent all day in bed. I've been sleeping 10-12 hours a day Friday - Sunday. I felt like doing that again today, but we really need the money, so I came in to work.

I believe my diagnosis is now Rapid-Cycling Bipolar II Disorder. Luckily, my insurance decided to cover the generic form of Lamictal for only $7.00 a month!! Before, I was paying $150 a month for the brand version. I still have to hassle with insurance every time I have a dosage change, they have to approve it. But it's worth it!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Nice to hear from you - I was wondering how you were doing. I'm sorry things have been so rough. Really glad that your insurance is covering your meds.

Is there any way that you could ease back into going to work, say by only working part time for a while as you continue to recover?
