daughters off to uni this weekend, shes leaving from nearby place at 6.15am on a coach to london she will be on coach for 7hrs then will have to navigate around london to uni using tube and trains
we would of took her but it cost so much to get around london, and i havent driven that far told shes to phone everynight for first week but she said no chance as its freshers week a few partys going on then shes taking as much as she can carry this time when she comes bk again she will take all her winter jumpers and things shes living in halls 7 or 9 to a flatlet shared kitchen bathroom

yes she told me bk in 05 she wanted to go but things were dificult the,
daughters going to study youth and comunity studies

thank you for all the replies, we took daughter to catch bus left on the bus at 6am this morning all ready rieceved a txt saying she had got as far as exeter told her to let me know when she arrived uin london and ring me when she gets in her room
she has to catch a train from bus station then a ten minute walk to uni getting lugage on and of train is going to be an experiance for her

How exciting and scary too. I'm sure she will do just fine. Many times when left to their own devices, they figure out exactly what they need to do. Keeping in touch is a good thing....helps her not to feel so lonely. Wishing her all the best!! sabby |
