Hey PC! I'm on the phone with chalmette. And i've just been reminded of how much i really miss PC. Not having the company and companionship at my fingertips when i want or need it has been one of the worst things about going blind.
I'm taking baby steps to get better mentally. So that i can finally get trained on JAWZ. The program which will bring me back here. I'm in therapy now. Because the depression had gotten so great. And i really think a big part of that depression has been being away from PC. On a happier note. My relationship is still going strong. And I'm still sober almost 3 1/2 years. Being connected to PC today is really brightning my day. I hope to return to mod ship one day soon. So ya'll better be on your best behaviour till then.  I love and miss you all!!!! nice to hear from you Raynnadi even if its via someone else, hope fully you will be able to get bk to pc soon, good to hear your relationship is still going strong and you are still sober

Rayna,
Nice to hear from you via Chalmette. I miss you lots - especially during recovery chats. I'm glad you're in therapy for the depression. Glad that you're still in a good relationship, and congrats on maintaining your sobriety through this. --splitimage

So good to hear from you. I'm sure the days have gone dark for you, visually and emotionally. Do your best. Some other attribute will rise and shine for you! Don't become frustrated learning that program. (Like I had to work at not doing when I learned/trained DragonSpeak.) It will be good to have you back permanently.

OMG!!!!! ITS SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told my therapist on saturday that being on PC via the phone helped me sooooooo much. Since i posted last my best friend surprised me with the fact that she ordered a walking stick, a book that teaches me how to read braile, a Harry Potter book in braile and a braile label maker. Up to this point i've been unwilling to learn all this stuff. She said if i stuck it in the corner of the closet and never looked at it again that would be okay. But she knows me and she knows when i have something in my hands im determined to learn it. I dont have the stuff yet, but just knowing its on its way gave me the motivation today to call the people that are going to teach me my life skills. They even have computer classes. I also talked to my voc rehab guy and he told me about a brand new program for people to work at major companies at home. So while thats in the distant future i know i'll work again. SO WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, when chalmette called just now i was listening to General Hosptial on tv and crocheting a blanket. It started off as a granny square but ended up with six sides. At least i'm doing it. Oh and Wmd, i just brewed a fresh pot of coffee! I cant say how much its lifted my spirits to be in touch with chalmette and all of you thorugh her. KEEP ON POSTING CAUSE YOU MAKING ME HAPPY!!!!!! I love you all and miss you all so much.
