I can't sleep. Sometimes I can but nights like last night happen often where I have plenty of opportunity to rest up but all I do is toss and turn and keep waking up. now I'm tired and upset and just want to cry all morning, now I have work. I hate this. this is really not fair.

What's wrong? (maybe i need to read other posts?) I get like that alot lately but its bad because sometimes all i want to do is go to bed but then i cant sleep. Last night i was laying there until at least three. Have you tried anything to help you sleep? I sometimes use melatonin, its a natural sleep aid. You feel fine in the morning too. Hang in there!

It is yuck when you can't sleep and then spend the day feeling dreadful. Try and takes things easy today and make time to relax when you come back from work. If the problem continues you may need to review your meds just to get you through this rough patch.

Take care.

When I worked and had nights like that I'd take a comfort item to work; a favorite book or small item, a pen, "rock" (I collect rocks from places I've gone :-) maybe one of my journals and work in it a little every so often when I took a bit of a break but I'd try to ground myself in my day that way and do a little planning of what I'd do after work.

Thank you for caring, I don't take anything yet, haven't even started talking to anyone yet but I'm looking right now. Sometimes it just all feels very overwhelming especially when I can't sleep in peace. If I can sleep at all, I get frequent nightmares.

thank you for your responses

2BFree, yeah, insomnia can be a real drag. It is hard to focus and make it through the work day when you have been up all night tossing and turning. I hope you get some rest tonight. Hang in there.......
