I had this thread a while ago and it was just wonderful to see all the responses so i thought I would bring it up again so that we could include newer members too.
What identifies a supportive post for you? What do you feel is beneficial in the help you have received? For example. I'll post mine. Some things I enjoy in supportive posts to me are things like the following: -Someone relating to me, sharing a story about how they have been through the same, and understand -someone saying "things will get better" and reassuring me -someone providing me with advice, even if its not necessarily what i want to hear, thats ok too sometimes. So what is support to you? What have you gotten in types of support? ![]() |

someone that cares enough to actually take the time to ask what you need and how you feel...listening and understanding

1) listen towhatI am really saying 2) if you had simaliar problem how did you fix it 3) use some humor, we all need a laugh 4) talk to me not down to me %) if I say something that hurts, tell me so I don't make same mastake 6) remeber we all are hurting so don't get mad and do harm That is about all I can think of
