I find PC really, REALLY helpful and where I live there isn't a great deal of help (for depression anyway), apart from the usual loooooong waiting lists for therapist, psychologists etc
So every chance I get I recommend PC

Would you or have you ever recommended PC?

I've told a couple of people in AA who are struggling with depression about PC. And I've posted about it on the other board I belong to.

I want to all the time, but due to paranoia that someone might log on and figure out my user name I have only given the actual name of the site a couple of times. When you live in a tiny community in a small country I'm sure that if someone I knew logged on they could read my posts and identify me...something I DON'T want . But I do love PC and I hope that with time I will be able to spread the name far and wide

Here's what DocJohn created for us to share, leave for others.

Have you recommended PsychCentral Share Psych Central with Others (PDF)
Have you ever wanted to share Psych Central with a friend or professional, but wanted something a little more "professional" than writing down the URL on a napkin?

Well, now ya can! We've had a few requests for something like this, and finally put something together. It's a simple PDF with basic information about Psych Central. Two information cards are printed on a single sheet, just print and cut them apart.

Enjoy!
DocJohn

Use the "attachment" link above, or download here:

PS - Although the logo doesn't look pretty in the PDF when you view it on your computer screen, it prints out nicely.

Attached Files Have you recommended PsychCentral 668590-PsychCentral_Handout.pdf (287.7 KB, 80 views)

I haven't, I'm too afraid someone will know me and I won't have the freedom of posting I have now. Not that there is a way I know if someone around knows me in 3D...but I don't know if anyone does. Am I making this confusing? I've been doing that the last couple days, sorry. But, no I haven't, to sum it up.

Naturally! I love PC and want to share this great resource with others--I highly recommend it! I mean, who wouldn't?!?!? DocJohn gives us everything here! Even himself, virtually. Maybe someday I can have a hug from him IRL. (Hey, Doc, next time you get to Chicago... ;-)
