My boss at work, is already starting to sing Christmas carols - drives me nuts. But seriously, where has the year gone. I still haven't taken most of my vacation time at work, and I have to figure out when I'm going to take it, before year end.

Looking forward to the Christmas season as well. If all goes well, I'll be spending at least a couple of weeks back with my wife, with no exams, papers, etc. to think about. It would be my first true downtime in about a year and a half, and by that I mean I've been working like a demon for 18 months straight.

Love the cold October we're having, though no snow in the forecast quite yet.

I prefer Nov. 1st to Hallowe'en...also known as "discount candy in every supermarket in town" day.
