Not a Texas fan -- I lived in College Station for a year and had a Tshirt that said, "Eat more beef, butcher Bevo" CONGRATS TEXAS AND GO OU!!!!!!!!!! --but I was glad to see them beat Wisconsin's huge Big 10 rival.

As for OU .... I had the misfortune of having to go to work at night in downtown Dallas before the Texas-OU game at the Cotton Bowl. There I was, walking to the bus stop, wearing a red jacket that said "CMSU Aviation" (Central Missouri State), and I nearly got lynched because I was wearing red. One snide drunk guy said, "well, CLEARLY you're an OU fan." I said, "I'm a Missouri fan and I think you BOTH suck." And then I ran. CONGRATS TEXAS AND GO OU!!!!!!!!!!

What I've never forgotten about that night, though, is how packed the streets were. My bus actually had to drive on the SIDEWALK because there was no room on the street!

Sorry, faye, but the only good thing that ever came out of my TX experience was my son. I've worked hard to forget the rest of it. And I think I'll root for USC. CONGRATS TEXAS AND GO OU!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Virginia Tech fan. We played pretty well against Auburn. Hey, we almost beat them! I'm so thrilled we held our own against the #3 team. Go Hokies! I don't much care who wins tonight...I would like to see USC get beat, since they beat us...but that's life. CONGRATS TEXAS AND GO OU!!!!!!!!!! to both teams.

Go Hokies! #1 in our hearts!

my avatar, i think, is a cat???? at least that is what i took it to be when i found it in the stock avatars...ktp made me really cool ones with owls but my home computer is down and i can't retrieve them from my picture folder.....long sigh........

i really don't care who wins tonight, but as i said, we have a white hat coach now and i'll root for the homeboys...

hey, i've been to the OU-Texas game. had a huge anxiety/panic/crowds attack, raced out of the stadium, got into a cab, went downtown to Neiman Marcus and had tea.....never went to the game again!!! just sat in the hotel and had good things to eat and drink...i've seen the crowds, but never actually got out into that aspect of the craziness.....i'm going to be a UT fan as soon as i move to Austin.....i'm going to go to the basketball games...not football though. i love basketball...

how's this for a cheer? "GOOD PSYCH-CENTRAL"!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrr. I'm a Michigan fan for life. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. (although Mother in law did do undergrad at Texas, so it's not a complete disaster, still.....)

Go OU! Love to see them win.
