Here is a story that's "food for thought". It is from the days when being left handed was wrong.

My Left Hand.

I cannot control myself, when I reach out to grab something, it is my left hand that tries to reach. It is almost like the "devil" is inside of it and it controls and overpowers my right side.
I am afraid to be so different. I don't like myself.
It is hard to eat with my right hand, I have little control and mostly the food ends up on me. I am so ashamed.
I just cannot write right. My right hand doesn't function properly.
Why is that his happened to me?
Playing sports is out of the question, my left hand dominates my body and my destroys my social life. I am so lonely....

But I know, that one day, I'm going to be ok if I try hard enough. Perhaps being so different could be a gift. Maybe I shouldn't change a thing. I guess it is up to me to sink myself in self pitty, or simply take myself and embraze who I am...... At the end of my journey, it is up to me what I do with myself, and more so, not only at the end but during the journey itself.

Mmmmmm. Just food for thought.

"Left handed" people are special! For starters, they are artistic and creative. (I'm not talking ONLY about lefties.) My left hand

This post is a translation and short version of the story of a left handed man back in the times where being left handed was a terrible thing. I didn't do a good job editing and translating, but I like the closure of the story. That is mostly why I posted.
I think it applies to all kinds of "differences" besides the left handed one, which no longer matters like it did back in those days.
