You're not giving here enough lately? Hmmmmmmmmm...........distortion? A very kind elder with great wisdom (Ozzie!!) gently reminded me a while back about sometimes we just need to receive. What a concept for someone like you who is used to giving so much!! Just accept that for now reaching out for support here is a good thing for you if it is helping.

Your stress level is at eleven?

Quote:
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

C'mon if you can't get a giggle out of Spinal Tap........... no job yet and i'm getting weirded out.......

Cold cloudiness is dreary for most. Very normal to want to go underground and save your energies.

Rude? Honey.......you're going to have to post a helluva lot more than this to qualify as rude.

As for weird? Sure I can see that..........but hey normal is boring! Weird at least hints that you're more fun than most!!! no job yet and i'm getting weirded out.......

((((((Pat)))))) for my sweet weirdo friend

from someone who cried for three hours straight this morning (oh today is just not a good one for me but hey I know this won't be the same tomorrow at least),

Hi Fayerody --

I am soooo sorry that you're feeling bad. I empathize completely. My unemployment benefits ran out in December.

I agree that sometimes we have to learn how to receive, as graciously as we can muster -- and you have always been so kind and caring here -- I'm sure that's plenty. And to lay back and be kind to yourself.

Pray that you catch a break soon.

Hey sweetie. I completely understand feeling weird if you are not in a good place yourself. And you tend to be a very supportive poster. So, I know I've said this to others. No one keeps score. Have a penny? Leave a penny. Need a penny? Take a penny. There's always pennies in the tray.

And I highly recommend oatmeal when the weather is getting you down. Someone else I know would say cream of wheat, but oatmeal does it for me, hands down.

Take care,

gg

ooohhh, faverody, no cream of wheat! Yuck it's really fish eggs. Oatmeal is so comforting. With bits of apple and raisins. I see you here sweetie and I am sorry you are having a tough patch. Be well.
