I know I have been gone for a few days. I have been doing some serious work on myself. I am back now, and I am working on changing myself and healing.
I am trying to move forward, it is hard, I am not ready to just let go of all the hurt feelings from my past, but I am ready to start acknolwedging that part of me and all the parts of me. One step forward one day at a time

I am trying to rember all my self care techniques and I have gotten rid of all my tool for self injury. I have wrote a letter out to myself and the alters, and it is a plan for healing for moving forward.

I am a bird learning to fly, and one day I will spread my wings and touch the sky and I will leave behind me the past, and I will fly free and true.

I am grateful to be here on PC, I am touched by all the kindness I have been shown here, and I have been blessed to make so many wonderful friends here. I just wanted to apologize for being away for awhile, I am always here for ya'll.

Lots and Lots of Love
Sparrow

(((Silversparrow))))) these words sound truly great to me also i hope we can always be here to help in your moments of sincere need for a kind connection to others who care too.. it is very hard going on the healing path alone but PC brings us this place to find the support network we need in all our times, good and bad... when we make steps to help ourselves the supportive community around us suddenly seems to appear from nowhere, but it has been there always and at times i know it has been myself who missed it while looking for what i thought it should look and feel like... eventually i've learned that health is just exactly that... health...it is not disguised or diluted beyond recognition but is instead exactly what we should expect for it to look like... it means all those basic things we were taught when young and it went in but maybe for some of us it got knocked aroun d a little... im very glad to discover that it is still a pretty solid set of simple good ideas... i hope you will find the set of keys that unlocks your dreams and hopes, setting you free to fly and enjoy what there is for us all here on Earth to enjoy.... best wishes always
Thanks for this!

Silver, I have been watching you get better over these last few months. You know, you were the first person to PM me after I joined PC in July. You were my first friend! Keep doing all this good work Silver! This work that you have been doing is exactly what has moved you forward! You will look back one day and be truly amazed at the transformation that you will have done..........

Thank you all, I have been stumbling here lately, but today I am getting myself back on track. I am remembering to focus and breath when I go into a panic attack or flashback.
I am taking steps to clear more things out of my life that are unhealthy for me.
I am working more on my writing and photography, and if any of you would like to see it feel free to pm me and I will gladly share the links with ya'll.
I am trying to gain more discipline in my life, I played catch up on a bunch of assignments I never turned in to my professors, and I am working on having a daily list of things to do that help me, like cleaning my room, taking time to practice yoga, and other positive and healthy things.

Got to keep going, lol, can't fall back now.

SilverSparrow,

I am rejoicing with you on all the light and joy inside as you see your way more clearly.

If I may, let me encourage you to "AIM FOR PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION".

Sometimes I will see something clearly, aspire to reach higher than before, but when I stumble I let myself get so discouraged that I just let it all go. Then I defeat myself.

When I remember to just aim toward health and do little bits at a time I go along better and stay more emotionally even.

I wish you all the best here, I am sure you will be able to do great things along the way.

Hugs,

Leslie and her Pixies

Hey silversparrow, I'm finally on a similar path to getting better! I just got tired of stagnating and with graduating recently and seeing that my whole life is ahead of me, I figured it's a good time to start slowly on making positive changes. Moving forward is so difficult, but worth it. I'm not ready to let go of all the hurt feelings from my path either (some of them actually seem to protect me from potential future harm) but just doing the little things, like your writing and photography and gaining more discipline, can make a world of difference.

*hugs*
