Has anybody heard? According to a British psychologist, today - January 24, is the saddest day of the YEAR. He used mathematical equation, such as weather, debt, etc. and came up with today's date. It's just a coicidence that today is also Monday. When you think about it, who needs math equations? It's right after Christmas, so this is when the bills come (that's enough to give me depression), the snowy, cold weather, the engine of your car putters to life (just barely running), sore muscles from shovelling, etc. Need I go on and on and on?...
Good news is if we live past today, the rest of the year is better. HA!

Thank you for posting this! My mom mentioned it this morning but didn't know anything about where it came from. I've been curious all day.

ss, today was hell on wheels, literally for me as I needed a clone to be in all of the places I was supposed to be. But it is evening and it is calm so the day passed. Had a conversation with my MIL who does not know of personal struggles right now. I am so blessed. I love them and I love that they taught me simple things like taking pictures of family events. C
onnecting to family. All be it hubby's side, it is good stuff, my family cares not. Today is my first day of being older.

Well, tomorrow should be happy - my parents' wedding anniversary - 41 years.

I actually had a nice day - slept very late and still felt tired though.

Ok. Yesterday (the 24th), i found out the my 'user' in my computer has been completely (100%) invaded by stubborn virus. Couldn't kill it. Couldn't access my stuff . Good thing my boss set up a new 'user' for me, so I didn't 'lose' everything. There are some bugs when I'm logged on as the 'new' user, but at least I can use the computer. *sigh*

I could not believe it when I heard that. Part of me just wanted to curl up and hide yesterday because of that *L*.
I have to agree with Ozzie though...at least the day light is getting longer. I notice that at the peak of darkness it was dark before 4:00. Now we can get light until almost 5:00.
The little things keep me going.

I was thinking that one thing which may also contribute to the holidays being depressing for many is that the earliest sunset actually comes about two weeks before Dec. 21st (latest sunrise about two weeks after). That's why we're noticing so much more daylight already in the late afternoon. Just thought I'd throw that in.

This is sad. Seeing all those old clips from his shows was a reminder of not only how unique Johnny was but also of an era in general which I miss very much.
