So i am pathetic and I posted on craigs list a want ad for a mom. i said i would be a good daughter mow her lawn listen to her talk about bingo and we could drink tea and stuff. i would remember her birthday and always be nice. I got a ton of emails from people saying you are so sweet and stuff like that. I also got emails from people who know what I feel like. I got an offer from a lady to be my mom if we click. She seems nice. I know to be careful and stuff and not give out personal information and stuff. But Im happy. But craigs list sent me an email and said i was flagged and removed? I sent an email back saying by flagged do you mean a red flag or white cus they can mean different things. They saw no humor in that. I dont understand. You can post weird things on this website and they stay. But anyway so what. I am pathetic but somtimes you have to find your own mom. I always wanted one. I lived in so many foster homes and my bmom is so mentally ill and abusive and unsafe and all that stuff and she is dying from her drinking and I dont talk to her nor does she remember me really. So I am like hopeful.

I think it's cool that you were able to ask for what you wanted and got so many positive responses.

I think that's an excellent request. Sometimes we get to choose our family. I'm glad you got some positive responses.

It was actually some one from the community of Craigslist (people that use CL for free) that flagged your post for removal and not the people that runs the website - it is sad but some people sit around all day and flag post they do not like or that they feel do not follow the quidelines word by word... like they don't have any thing better to do.

I had a post removed when I was looking to adopt a pitbull puppy just becasue the person(s) that flagged me does not beleive that pits are safe dogs.... and I had my post for one of my baby sugar gliders removed because some one did not like my re-homing fee, even though it was 60% less than what you would pay if I was selling the joey.

So in other words..... don't worry about the flaggers of CL because they will continue to be there and they will make you mad as he** if you let them.... just wait 24 hours - then post again.

Ok. heres my deal. three years ago i was dxd with type 2 diabetes. I went to on online support group and made immediate friends. One lady, who knew my background, (its really no secret) "adopted" me

So i have my bio family i cant stand, and a new family with 3 sisters all of whom adopted my mom as theyre mom too.

I believe in second chances. I hope you find yours.
