[KUREHA]

I'm not sure where to put this - don't really know where it fits.

Anyway there's another forum I go on now and then, don't want to say which one, anyway I joined a few years ago so I made a couple friends.

Just to make it clear - I'm not talking about these forums.

Recently they have been really annoying me, not all them, but most them, especially when they think they know me, or pretend to understand, or compare me to them because it's something similar - when really it isn't, or it's definitely just that (don't want to say what just incase anyone from there reads it)
Then it feels like they are forcing their opinions on me as well, or they think I'm stupid for knowing something

It's kind of like in Simple Plans song

I know you think you know me
You don't know anything
I know you wanna help me
I don't need anything
Don't tell me where to go
I don't need you to know

I'm pretty sure they are all against me and they PM each other so I won't know what they are saying and because I've emailed some of them - they all know what I've been saying.

Then some not all though, they whinge all the time, sure I understand they might be depressed or whatever, but every message constantly, or the "I've been told mine is servere" it's like some kind of competition to see who is worse

I really hope none of my messages come across like that - I don't want to be like them.

Anyway I just needed to say this, wanted to on that site but couldn't, they'd all give me abuse or guilt trip me.
Or should I post it there?

Support forums are a blessing. Only take the positive and leave the negative. Stick with people that lift you up and not drag you down.

Here at PC we have good self-care tools and a team of caring moderators/admin, not all forums are as good as this one.

Hi, Kureha...I've belonged to another active forum like this one, but I found the people there not so supportive, or balanced in their responses as they are here on PC. This was BoomerWomenSpeak...I don't mind saying the name of the forum. I joined that one the same time I joined here, 4 years ago, when I really needed feedback on a crisis situation. The responses there were downright mean and insulting, whereas here on PC, I found the kind of feedback I needed to recover. I recently visited that Boomer forum again, and found it again to be rather spiteful and "clique-ish" ...and who needs that?!! I've never observed this to be the case here on PC. It's a great community.
