Hi All -- I just noticed that I became a Poohbah about half dozen posts ago. I guess Dr. John fixed that 1009 thing -- too bad, I thought it made being a Poohbah extra special.

I covet the Poohbah courtesy title. Had a Std. Poodle I used to call the Grand Poobah bec. he was Grand. I may have to stop posting at some point, bec. I want to be a Poohbah forever.

Wink

Hi Emily, Wisewoman-- OMG. There's a secret handshake? And funny hats? And lodge meetings? This is sooooo much better than I thought.

And All -- Thank you for the congrats. Being a good citizen of the Forums community [is] a Big Deal for me.

As for the Beautiful Fairy Signature -- EsthersVirtue made it for me? Isn't Esther just wonderful to do that? Coming when it did, it is even a more special, like a gift for graduating to Poohbah.

When I first came here and posted that Ifelt "left out," members advised me to post and visit chat. I set as my goal then to become a "good citizen of the Forums community."

To the extent that I was able in the black pit of suicidal depression, I tried to at least acknowledge that I had read a post. It meant a lot to me to get a response, no matter how brief. Yes, I know that we can look at "number of views" but all that tells me is that someone saw my post and left -- pronto. It is especially hard for the new member, who hasn't built up a community yet.

So to me, going through the stages of the titles acknowledges that I've made some small contribution to the group, however teeny tiny it may be, and that I've fulfilled the goal I set for myself of being a good citizen of the Forums.

Feel "funny" -- no, it feels great!!!!

I'll felt us the funny hats and Em will have to show the handshake. Do we want horns on our hats? Want2, you made me smile and tear up a bit. I am glad you feel a part of something special here. You have been a dedicated friend to all since you came and that is clear. Now, what color are the poohbah hats?
