We're starting a weekly podcast here at Psych Central that reviews the past week in mental health. The first episode is online now!

Please leave your feedback and comments and things you'd like to see covered in the podcast in this thread. Thanks!

Heard the first two minutes of it and had to switch off as the woman (can't remember her name my memory ) was talking far quieter than the man, so will have to wait till the children are in bed and asleep then I can wear my ear phones and turn it up !

Fantastic idea though I can't wait to hear the rest of it, also looking forward to the interview with our 'Doc' next week.......

I left a comment there too but I guess I can give you some feedback. I also had problems with the volume, I even went to a quiet room and it didn't help much. Plus I think the format should be a bit different to me the blog recap seemed boring, maybe if there was more dialect between the two hosts it would help it be easier to listen to. I do think the podcast is a great idea though and I realize it was their first episode so I am anxious to listen to the next one.

Just had an interesting thought. Would be nice if the PC Weekly was also video as well as sound. Be nice to see who is talking and who they are talking to..

"...what our VIEWERS would like to HEAR"? Let's rethink that.

Seriously, though -- as pretty much everyone else has said -- I couldn't even make out the chick's name, so she really needs to lean into the mike and talk much louder. And not mumble. As my high school speech teacher used to say -- "Diction, diction, diction!" (imagine sing-songy, ditzy-blonde voice from someone who would tell you her name was Sandi Gresham -- "S-A-N-D-I, G-R-E-S-H-A-M" -- as a matter of course instead of just as needed.)

Interesting experiment. I'll be eager to see how it plays out.

Great job!!! So much fun to hear the PC news!

Would you guys take phone interviews or would they need to be in person?
