Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say sorry that I haven't been as supportive lately as I would like to be. I want you all to know that I still care very much, I'm just a little self-absorbed right now. I probably will not respond to a lot of posts, and my responses aren't great. But it's not because I don't care. I really do If you need me or feel neglected by me, please pm me. I don't want to lose any friends over this. I just think it's time to retreat. I'll be around, though. And sharing as much as I can with you all. Love you all  Angela

retreat, honey. that's a good things sometimes. sometimes we just have to retreat to regain some of the massive resources lost. we'll be right here for you, caring about you and loving you.

I've totally been there. Don't know if you've noticed, but you'll see a lot of posts from me and then none at all. I happen to be in a posting mood right now, hehe. Take time for you, because you matter most!

We are all with you and understanding your need to do what you need to do for yourself. You have to first take care of yourself in order to be able to take care of others. We are here waiting for when you are ready to return. Take care of yourself - give yourself hugs and know you have lots of online support.

Sounds like a retreat is the right thing for you right now. But that doesn't mean we won't miss you. I know I do already! You have helped so many people, including me TREMENDOUSLY. You know hon...I'm such a disagreeable wench! I don't want you to pull away at all. No rest for the weary, as they say. Of course, you know I say that with affection. I just don't want you to dig into a hole when you live alone. It ain't healthy. No hiding in that hole Angie.
Wasn't it you who posted that billboard sign with God saying, "Don't MAKE me come down there!"?  If I believed that you were taking a break in order to do gobs of self-care, I'd be all for it. But I suspect a hole dweller is in our midst! ("takes one to know one!") If PsychCentral pulls you out of that hole a wee bit....then I want those fingers on the keyboard. Plus, I'll miss you too much! Get your sweet crusading self back here. emmy |

Now you have both tofubutt and Pat after you to stay out of hidey holes. You had better watch out. They're strong smart ladies who know tons more than us younguns. When they speak we had better listen! So.........I back the kind advice given here by those two and yeah it will take Emsky a while to drive that firetruck down there........oh wait you've showered.....nevermind! and i'm in hidey hole regalia.....sweats, flannel shirt, houseshoes, old socks, hair is hideous....i'm just one shovel away from it myself.....so take this to heart......stay around!!!!! incidentally, stella is walking and that helps me tremendously.....p
