Hey there. I just completed a 7 month outpatient program for mica issues and it worked! I'm clean and my mental health issues are under control. The program I was in wasn't a big deal..just two mica groups a week and it got me off of opiats. I'm bi-polar and in good therapy with 2 meetings a month with my med doctor(who's grear) and a session a week and one phone session a week with a psychologist so I'm already pretty program intensive but I'm looking for group therapy for bi-polar to sub for the group therapy I got at the outpatient program I was in. I'm central to manhattan and have medicare and medicade as insurance and I really need group therapy...I found that it works for me!
Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding going about to find a group for myself? I really need a good mica or bi-polar group where I can participate and get what I need. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kissfru
