I read the attachment article very carefully and found it well written and interesting. I would like to see another article on attachment, however, that deals with how adults who were unable to form healthy attachments as infants (eg - my other was psychotic and I had NO security or guarantee of anyone to take care of me from birth) can overcome this adversity and form healthy attachments as adults and not become co-dependent or totally withdrawn. Yes, I am i therapy but this issue keeps coming up for me - the little girl inside me who is terrified for her life keeps over-ruling the adult me and convinces "me" that I have no value because I had no value to my family.

Overall - I love the articles and the format and I want to thank each and every person who worked on the newsletter. It is a great resource. I confess I did not read the article on ending the therapeutic relationship - I was much too frightened to attempt it - the very inkling of the thought of ending the therapy with my therapist threw me into a panic attack. I am so thankful and grateful, again, for all of you who put so much work into this forum and in to the newsletters. What a great place this is!

Thank you for your input, Maya, and I'm glad you found it useful. It is good to know what readers think.

I hope things are going well with you, and that you have good rapport with your therapist . Thanks again for your response. Please take care.
