I started to tweeze my eyebrow hairs out from between my eyes and it was fun and i thought can i tweeze my facial hair instead of shaving so i pulled some out. After awhile the pain feeling went away and it is fun, but i am worried it might lead to something. Maybe ingrown hairs, bumps..etc. I seem to do it more and more and dont want it to be a problem. I told my T and she said that i am most likely just curious about it right now and to watch it. Do/did anyone pull hairs out like this? Did you notice how long the hair is into the face? The color of it, the white/clear goop on the hair? It is indeed curious.

It could become Trichotillomania
http://psychcentral.com/disorders/sx96.htm But if you're watching it, then I don't think I see a problem. Sometimes we're just curious about stuff. ![]()

When some females pass their forties they tend to get hairs in places they would rather not talk about and facial hair is one of them..... chin hairs are often plucked instead of shaving, with out any problems.

no ingrowns or anything, but just make sure that you exfoliate to prevent it. |

Thanks to bad genes on both sides of the family - thanks Mom and Dad - I have lots of very dark hair in places where women don't normally get hair. I'm the queen of the tweezers. It's a nightly ritual. I've never had a problem with ingrown hairs or anything. Sometimes, I was too - but I don't like to wait until the hair get's long enough for that.
