I want to say first ((ty)) for those who read. Also that i know this is not a biggy things in life could have been alot worse. Other ppl I know have had much harder weeks. So ((ty)) (everyone))) for letting me ramble or vent.
I just needed to write it out. And all of you have supported me so much thank you once again ..........

What a week this week as been. Thought about posting it earlier , i
guess i had to get my head back to normal if that was possible lol. On
Thursday the oil hot water heater decided it had enough and had a
minor explosion in the bottom of it. I had a issue with it awhile
back. What can i say i guess it was warning me???
Anyways I woke to the smell as I now know was oil. It was not bad
at first I thought it was my sons axe spray??? He was up before me and
had left for school about 15 minutes before.He had taken a shower
that's prolly when it happened or alittle before as he told me after
he had smelled something.
Now you would think growing up where I did I would know that smell
any where. But my brain was shot. As i think while sleeping i had been
smelling it. I turned the heat up and when i did that the smell came
up threw the vents. As the burner was still working to the water
heater. Non stop. Because there was no water in it to heat. BTW did
you know water keeps coming out of it. lol
Of course the smell kept getting worse and i kept thinking , I know
i am smelling that. By then I was to fogged out to know. I had 3 cups
of coffee and then laided my head down and thought well if the birds
die i will know it really does smell. I do not have any birds LOL I
got up and went upstairs and said ppl I think there is a issue. Then
sat at top of stairs cause i was out of air.
After much to do. Me calling fueling company and me making no
sense and ins company. They had me open all windows and doors.
Everyone was here by 11. Ins man by 1.
Even my sister came. aww
The reason I wrote this out is so everyone knows not only gas is a
issue but so is oil. If you smell that there is a issue. And as the
commercial says for the gas company call 911. With me I should have
done the same. That is the truth, My voice was hoarse. My thinking was
gone. I very good person told me on the phone to call. I being the
stubborn one did not, That could have cost me ...me. and everyone in
the house and the house. The ins man said i was lucky.
Please no political talk on this ok...As its only my thoughts on my
son signing up.
Somewheres in this week my son as i am sure you have read has decided
to join the marines. He had been accepted at college. So this was a
shock to me. Also because i believe in peace. Also where i grew up had
alot to do with world war 2. The army was there . They made things for
the war. Things that later in life caused cancer. So it has always
been a trigger for me. Plus i had taken care of my father in law who
was a vet and had been wounded. He was a tough guy,. Never talked
about it till the end, He shared alot with me then., I felt blessed he
could. How he passed away had some to do with all that.
So my son going in scares me. To say the least. Hes going Monday for
his test and physical. and to sign. So i have to accept it. My prayer
in life had been always he would be able to function out in the world
on his own. I got that. So i should be happy. This thou i have to say
without a doubt is one of my biggest fears. Enough said on my part or
i will just keep going in a circle. And its done.
Some wheres in this week my daughters vans brakes went. Well grinding
noise while pretty far away. My worry was she had 5 kids in the car.,
She did make it home. And was fixed and man did it need fixing, She
was very blessed she made it back.
To add insult to injury yesterday while dealing with sons day of going
for testing and knowing its forsure. Around 4 in the afternoon the
pool hose once again came off. LOL
Not to me it seems like i am repeating life over and over. I went to
help. And of course while stepping over circle dogs fence fell over
the fence. lol landed on my knee and elbow.again.
The silly fence is two feet high I am 5 foot 2. I give up the fence won. lol
This would be the same fence i moved in a snow storm in the winter,
Maybe the fence does not like me. I layed on the ground and thought ,
you know I really am not liking that fence. plus my knee hurt and
elbow. Also I was thinking I wonder if the neighbor's are watching.

Notice alot of this has to do with water too. And maybe just maybe
thinking and walking over fences is just not good. All as i can say is
what a week ..................P.S. after writting this in my e mail for spell check. Which i am sure there are still goofs. I did dishes and cut my finger on a knife.
I think I maybe I am staying away from water for a bit.

I don't post in this section much, but I read your post and I just wanted to say that I'm sorry your week has been so bamboozled!!

It seems like you are taking it all in stride and I can sense your sense of humor is still there! That's good!!

I will send prayers and good will to you and your family, especially your son.

Watch out for those fences, they will either keep you in, or keep you out, but whenever you challenge them they will always trip you up!! LOL!!

I lost some of my humor today. Son went off for his tests to join up.
He will be back tomorrow......

I was very blessed with the water heater. Do you know in my life time that makes 4 or 5 water heaters. I think they may not like me lolol
