If you want to watch E. Fuller Torrey, he will be on C-SPAN's BookTV Saturday at 8 AM. This may be Eastern U.S. time only; I don't know how other regions of the country handle these programs:

The Insanity Offense: How America's Failure to Treat the Seriously Mentally Ill Endangers Its Citizens

Author: E. Fuller Torrey

Upcoming Schedule
Torrey againSaturday, May 2, at 8:00 AM
About the Program
Research psychiatrist, E. Fuller Torrey, contends that the mentally ill have been mis-treated and recounts how many were released from public mental hospitals beginnings in the 1960's void of the proper care. Mr. Torrey contends that one-third of the homeless are mentally ill as well as one-tenth of people incarcerated. E. Fuller Torrey discussed his book on the C-SPAN program, Washington Journal.
About the Author
E. Fuller Torrey is a research psychiatrist and president of the Treatment Advocacy Center. Mr. Torrey is associate director for laboratory research at the Stanley Medical Research Institute.

Thanks pachy. I watched a good program the other night on my local PBS station about mental illness in the imprisoned population.

They end up in prison because of their mental illness and lack of health care. They get - sometimes - health care and meds they need while in prison. Then when they are let out, they are on their own to try to find the mental health care they need, so they end up not getting any and of course end up back in prison.

and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
