I didn't know where to put this thread... so I apologize.
Does anyone have a special place that they like to go to when they need time to themselves? Some go shopping (I do that when I have a little extra cash to spend), or some go for a walk, or a bike ride.... I love to go to our local art museum. It's very quiet and calming and I learn something new every single time I go. The best part: it's free. I also like to go take a walk at a park near my house that has long, gorgeous trails and a beautiful waterfall in the center of it all. Not to sound morbid, but I enjoy going to the cemetery and sitting next to my mom's grave and just talking a one-sided conversation with her. And of course, at home, I love to be on my big sectional couch with my fleece blankies and my dogs all around me, or in bed with a good book and my dogs ![]()

The local library (a very big, very well-equipped one) and the quiet park outside it.
