I use a TENS unit to stimulate the nerves and muscles in my leg where I have some nerve damage and muscle atrophy. It is not the most pleasant, but I have to believe that I am doing something good to improve. Also, I have been researching Trigger Point Therapy to help with my chronic pain.....it is similar to acupuncture, but it is more specific. My left knee could bend more (meaning I had more ROM) after the first appointment. I would recommend it. And something I have learned is stretching is ALWAYS important for pain relief.
