What exactly can one expect from the NAC or SAM-e? How safe is it? I deal with a wide variety of my own issues.

One of them being lots of feelings of unreality... Another one for example would be adolescent impotence.

See my signature for my current meds and an answer to my first question would be awesome! Thanks!

I can't comment on SAM-e because I've never taken it, however, you should love NAC. I take 1,800 mg every day (600 mg morning, 600 mg lunch, 600 mg dinner). What issues are you having and what specifically do you want to know about NAC, here is a good starting point to read: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3044191/

NAC is very safe, doctors use it every day in the emergence room to treat Tylenol overdose.

Same-e originally caused my mania. It is for depressed people, not for bipolar people.

I am curious to know how well SAM-e works for depression, anybody tried it and at what dose?
