Anyone worked with this?
I'm due to start a group course later this month and am very nervous. Would like to know what to expect!

I really liked cbt....reprogrammed my thinking...helped me to see that I used many thinking errors and that this was what was making me upset all the time..when I was able to identify those thinking errors and think about the reality of things that were going on, my emotions were much more controllable. hope it all works out for you. take care.

I found CBT to be very helpful, it helps change the way you think about certain situations.

I'm not a big fan of CBT...I find DBT much more effective. But, I hope it works for you!

I have many negative experiences from CBT!!!!

During which, they force us to "refocus" instead of address the problems and issues....for me, it was a total waste of time.

I think that I'd why I didn't like it. I think I need a mixture of CBT and working through issues. Is there such an approach?

Thanks for the suggestions. It's difficult for me to find treatment programs because of my low-income, so this one was suggested to me since it's for working artists (ie. me). We'll see how it goes...!
