Anybody else here use music as their medicine? I do. It's my favorite thing to do to cheer me up when I'm down. What are some artists/groups/bands that you all listen to?
Mine are: -Rise Against -Silverstein -Hawthorne heights -Taking back Sunday -Deftones -The Used -Chevelle -Incubus -Redhot chili peppers SOO MANY MORE TO NAME!!

Yes, music helps me, too. Guess it must help doctors perform surgeries as well because twice when I had surgical procedures done there was music playing. It helped me relax, too.

I listen to ALL sorts of music to help me self-soothe and such. Right now I am listening to Native American Flute and I also have some meditation music-all on my phone so I can get it easy. Good Stuff!

There is music therapy, it does help especially for whatever mood you are in, you can use the radio or cd's or tapes or whatever access you have to music to make you feel better. I try to listen everyday to music and i play piano too.

I definitely believe in the power of music. My favorite band is Sigur Ros, but I have to feel in the right place to listen to them as a lot of their songs make me cry. I find techno music or anything upbeat is good when you're feeling down.
