Has anyone's depression ever worsened after ECT? I just had my 5th treatment and I'm feeling worse today than I have in a long time. Just feel like not living. What do I do about this? I emailed my ECT doctor and asked him if ECT ever made people's depression worse. Still waiting to hear back. I just hate life right now My life sucks, every aspect of it.

Now I've actually switched into hypomania. Much rather be hypomanic than deeply depressed, but this is no picnic either.

Have you talked to your pdoc? If ECT is causing you to rapid cycle, it's probably not a good thing to continue!
I hope you can get things figured out soon!
Thanks for this!
