I think its a good idea. Proper nutrition plays a big role in mental and physical health and well being.

I think seeing a dietitian is a really good idea, if you can afford it. I'm seeing one now, to help with weightloss, and it's really working. The only other time I've been able to loose significant weight was when I worked with a dietitian.

I think it's a good idea. I went to a dietician once for a consult; she reviewed my eating habits and advised me on what I wasn't getting enough of and needed to supplement (vitamin B, fish oil).
I went to see her because I eat gluten- and dairy free and we (parents and I) were worried I wasn't getting the right nutrients.

I agree with Breadfish, it can be very helpful. I take vitamin D and a multivitamin that helps with energy and the fatigue I was attributing to depression eased quite a bit!

Some are good, some are not so good. Some have antiquated ideas about nutrition. Do your homework and find a good one!
