So my dad's picking me up for neurofeedback. Fortunately, the guy we're going to see is apparently a very nice guy and my psychiatrist spoke very highly of him when she talked about him. So I have high hopes. A little nervous, but hopeful nonetheless. I'll talk about how it went when I get back.

was one thing, as well as the memory fragments. (Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything I can do about my fragmented memories, but I can treat the stuff I'm certain is an issue. Case in point, OCD) And we had this sort of television, I think, that involved me putting a band over my forehead in order to measure brain oxygen and things of that sort -- it was the warm-up session, so to speak. And there was this brain on two legs that I had to follow, sort of manipulate in a way with my brain, in order to keep it moving. I actually did a pretty good job, from what I can see, and I feel calmer, actually. More centered. Tired without a doubt, but definitely calmer and more centered. It'll be an ongoing thing, probably on Mondays, and I'll try and keep people posted as to those sessions. |
