(Two more sessions, then brain map. My neurofeedback guy also recommended I start tracking my mood)

So...I've had an eventful go of it. Second day after I fell off a horse; better now, thank God, but still incredibly sore in places. (I didn't break any bones, which is kind of amazing)

Watched A Beautiful Mind for neurofeedback today. Pretty awesome movie so far. I admit, I really like John Nash here, in this movie. He's pretty cute, and sympathetic as well. And I got bits and pieces of memory back, which help, at least. They're not much, but I'll take them.

Pretty rainy today. Thinking of chilling out a bit when I get home; it's as good of an excuse for it as any.

Hello ladyrevan21: Thanks for sharing your progress. I never fell off of a horse. But one tried to toss me off one time many years ago. I never saw the movie: "A Beautiful Mind". But I read the book. Personally I'm a rainy-day person. I cherish every one that comes along...

i am also gradually regaining my use of Recall, a memory function that was lost to me many years ago. i think the use of biofeedback is very helpful. i use praise, self-praise, and patience now,,, i used to be very fond of self abuse, in the form of verbal denigration (STUPID)...etc. which i am largely relinquishing.

i hope you find more and more ways to reconnect the patterns of your brain, and regain functions. i also used meditation to regain focus and insight; and a form of auditory (sound) therapy called Binaural Beats, to help stimulate the neural reconnections in my brain. these two, combined, have been very effective for me.

best wishes, do keep us posted~

Skeezyks: Jesus, that sounds horrifying. I am so sorry. Also, how is the book? I might have to read it sometime. And yeah, there is something very comforting about rainy days, isn't there?

Gus1234U: That's wonderful! And I definitely hope so too. May have to try both of these, actually.
Thanks for this!
