Has anyone tried taking Inositol powder and found it makes you sleep a lot?
I’ve been taking 10gm as directed by my doctor but I’m finding it very hard to wake up in the mornings. I’ve been taking it for about two months roughly. I’m already taking Seroquel so I don’t need something to make me sleep more. I’m wondering if it’s the interaction between the two but hard to tell since I can’t stop taking Seroquel suddenly to find out.

I'm not familiar with it. Have you tried calling your local pharmacist? Sometimes they can be very helpful and knowledgable about interactions, etc.

Inositol can make people very sleepy.
Ten grams is a rather high dose.
What are you using it for? Anxiety? Other?

I very much agree with calling your pharmacist to ask about drug/supplement interactions, etc.

I hope you get this sorted out soon.

Thanks, it’s for kind of “all of the above” (depression anxiety psychosis).
Need to make a docs appointment soon too.
